The commissioner of Tonj South County of Tonj State on Monday said he visited Jur land to acquaint with the implementation of Marial Baai Peace Agreement.
Severino Philip Bazia says he toured Jur land to know whether cattle keepers and farmers implemented the resolutions of the deal, Don Bosco Radio reports.
He says he was delegated by state authorities to go and witness the implementation of the ongoing agreement between cattle keepers and farmers.
Philip reveals that among twenty-two cows which were caught destroying the crops of Jur communities, nine had been given back to the owners and thirteen are still missing.
He stresses that authorities of Jur of Wau States should search for the missing 13 cows and give them back to their owners for a peaceful coexistence.
The commissioner while speaking during an exclusive interview with Don Bosco Radio in Tonj, appeals to cattle keepers to avoid immigrating into Jur land with their cattle without a permission note from the state high authorities.
