The Archdeacon of the Episcopal Diocese of Yei says in the continued insecurity in Yei River State both government and armed opposition do not want to see civilians.

Radio Easter quoted Margret Jamba saying a civilian is supposed to be taken good care of, but in Yei River State they are treated badly and slaughtered like goats.

She explains that women have a lost for giving birth to children who are grown in hardship and end up orphans.

The Archdeacon asks God to forgive those who did wrong during the crisis.

The archdeacon made the remarks on Saturday at Yei Freedom Square during the last day of the seven day prayer and fasting.
