Two young men got severe injuries after parts of the gold mining wells fell on them in separate areas of the Nuba Mountains.
Abjuju Jafer Musa 23-year-old says he went to Umdulu of Umdoeren County gold mine ground after one month he fall in the pit and got injured on the west.
Kuku Iydar, 21 yeas mentions that he was digging in the gold well suddenly the wall slid on him causing brakes on his leg in Jebalad gold mine.
He is amputated due to serious damaged on his leg.
Both young men are receiving treatment at mother of mercy hospital in Gidel.
Gold mining in the Nuba Mountains is the source of income to many young people in the region as most of them risk digging deeper following the gold root underneath.
