South Sudan Certificate exams kick off in Torit State

South Sudan Secondary Certificate Exams on Monday commenced in Torit State and other parts of the country.
 
Governor Tobiolo Alberio Oromo while ringing the bell for the start of the exams, encouraged candidates to be confident and have hope for better results, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
He advised learners to continue fighting illiteracy for durable peace to prevail in the country.
 
Alberio on the other hand promises to give one hundred thousand South Sudanese Pounds to the best performing students in the state.
 
He says any student who scores an average of 80 percent and above will be given 100,000 SSP
 
While Fermo Peter Isara, Commissioner of Torit County speaking in Arabic tells candidates to study hard for the best ten to emerge from the state.
 
The officials spoke on Monday during the start of the national secondary school exams in Torit.
