The commissioner of police in Yei River State has on Monday promised to thoroughly investigate the cause of fire outbreak that burnt into ashes about thirty shops at Sobe Street in Yei town.
Major general Yoasa Lujang Kamba says the cause should be clearly known so that measures are put in place to avoid future fire outbreak.
He urges the citizens to stop criminal activities in the town.
The police commissioner appeal to the traders whose shops were burnt to open police case so that the police can know the amount of losses they have incurred.
