Tonj Civil Hospital confirms the start of the construction of maternal ward which takes more than twenty beds, says administrative officer.
Mathiang Agany clarifies that the building is a contribution from a son of Tonj and will be divided into two rooms, Don Bosco Radio reports.
He adds that the ward will help the entire citizens of South Sudan including the immigrants.
The construction of a new facility began on Monday with digging of the foundation, he discloses.
The officer say tn case of complications during delivery, mothers are transferred to operation room.
The officer made his remark to Don Bosco Radio on Friday in Tonj.
