Humanitarian organization TOCH South Sudan trains chiefs from different areas near Wau town on their roles in the Marial Baai Agreement
Voice of Hope Radio reports that the project coordinator Peter Tong says the workshop will be for three days and targets fifty local chiefs in the area,
He adds that chiefs have big role in uniting the farmers and the cattle keepers in the community.
Tong encourages the participants to implementation laws in their locality for sustainable peace.
The minister of local governance and laws implementation Michael Madut Chan says there must be full accountability between the two parties in case of failure to implement the Agreement.
Madut appeal to the famers and the cattle keepers resolve conflict peacefully or by the use of the rule of law.
The three days workshop will conclude on Friday at South Sudan Red Cross in Wau.
