The national Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports with support from Japan International Cooperation Agency or JICA launches the fourth National Unity Day celebration in Juba.
The day aims at bringing together citizens from across the country to participate in various sports activities to promote peaceful coexistence.
The occasion will host about 400 young people from different states of South Sudan.
The sporting events to celebrate the National day of peace are expected to start on 26 January, to 3rd of February 2019 in Juba.
The day is celebrated under the theme ‘Sports for Peace and Social Cohesion.’
