Nearly 300 refugee women graduate in English in Upper Nile

UN refugees’ agency or UNHCR in partnership with Jesuit Refugee Services in late December graduated 283 women who completed English language courses in Maban, Upper Nile.
 
The agency in its update says the 20-week long English courses are aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for languages.
 
In another development, UNHCR and Danish Refugee Council distributed relief items to 5,094 refugee households in Kaya of Yei River.
 
The items comprised of blankets, buckets, solar lamps, sleeping mats, mosquito nets, and collapsible and rigid jerrycans.
