Hundreds of refugees and returnees, celebrated Christmas with tears of joy in Wau saying ‘this is the happiest Christmas because of peace’.
According to Voice Hope Radio, the faithful who refused to tell their names expressed their happiness that they have not expected the Christmas to be good to the extent of seeing all people together.
They say they are very grateful with government and the SPLM/A-IO for silencing guns and bring peace to the people to reduce their suffering.
Others are hopeful that if this peace agreement continues, there will be no more suffering, but rather development.
There should be no more conflict, but all people in South Sudan have to participate in maintaining the peace through acceptance and cooperation among each other.
The faithful made this word during Christmas in Wau.
