‘The period of Christmas is a short one, but it is full of meaning, Jesus’ birth makes the beginning of our salvation, Says Secretary-General of the Catholic Diocese of Yei.
Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit explains that ‘We all feel in our heart an intimate joy during the feast and time of Christmas, a joy, one would say, rather different from the joy we experience on other feast days’.
He notes that even people not belonging to Christian faith seem to realize that something very special is being commemorated on this feast.
Fr Lodongo, who is the Director of Radio Easter, is wishing all people a very merry Christmas and also bringing the glad tidings of good news that the station is back on air after three months off-air due to a major technical problem.
He conveys a lot of appreciations to almighty God, all people and many other generous and good persons.
Fr Lodongo prays that ‘may the peace and joy which Christ brought into the world be yours in this Christmas and may Jesus be born in your heart as He was in Bethlehem!’
