The Bishop of Catholic Diocese Yei River State has urged South Sudanese to have the spirit of forgiveness during this Christmas season.
Radio Easter reported that Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe believes Christ came to forgive the sins of the people in the country.
He calls on Christians to forgive those who did wrong to them following the act of Christ.
He urges the armed groups to allow the returnees from neighbouring countries passage to come home.
He prays for South Sudan to gain peace.
The Bishop was preaching to congregation at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
