Centre for Policy Studies holds hate speech discussions in Juba

Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies in South Sudan is holding discussion on hate speech next Monday in Juba.
 
A note CRN got says South Sudanese policy makers including academia, religious leaders, national and international NGOs and members of the organized forces are expected to attend the discussion.
 
The talks will help in guide discussions to look at the hate speech and the misuse of digital media as tool for misinforming citizens at home, neighbouring countries and Diaspora on issues in South Sudan.
 
Experts are expected to give mitigation efforts in South Sudan and lessons learned in the past four years of conflict.
 
The discussions will come up with recommendations on specific policy and its implementation based on the work of Defyhatenow and other actors.
