Government and oppositions to celebrate peace in Yambio

The Government of Gbudue announced that on Thursday all oppositions in the state will come to Yambio town for the first time to celebrate the recently signed revitalized Peace Agreement at Yambio Freedom Square.
 
Pia Phillip Michael, Acting Governor of Gbudue, on Sunday invited everyone at St Mary Yambio Catholic Parish and the whole town to participate in the peace festival, Anisa Radio reports.
 
He encourages Christians to love and forgive each other because the government and leaders have decided to put the love into action for the sake of peace.
 
Gbudue State Acting Governor reveals that they have been working hard to make a meaningful peace.
 
This is a unique opportunity where peace is going effectively in the state to build the peace in the country, he stresses.
 
Gbudue State is one of the states in the former Western Equatoria that experienced insecurity until signing of the final revitalized peace agreement two months ago in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
