The Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO in partnership with UN Mission in South Sudan conducted awareness training to activists on sexual exploitation and abuse in Yambio.
Justin Anthony Manga, CEPO State Program Coordinator, says the aim is to sensitized civil society members and media practitioners on sexual exploitation, Anisa Radio reports.
Anthony pledges that CEPO will continue to enlighten different categories of individuals such as organizations, government sectors and school to eliminate the issues in the state.
A participant, Joyce Bage says sexual exploitation is a bad habit and should be discouraged in all the higher institutions in the state.
Many girls in Gbudue State is much engaged in some harmful practice which is not necessary to them, she adds.
Mungara Joseph, another participant, appeals to the government of Gbudue to implement the law and order to combat gender-based violence in the state
