The minister of health in Tonj state on Tuesday launches donation of blood in Tonj civil hospital.
In the statement Don Bosco radio, Abak Yel Madot after her arrival from medical treatment.
The minister gave one hundred and eight beds sheets and surgical equipment for operation in the hospital.
Abak says the donation of bed sheets is to fulfill the promise she made in 2016 before she became the minister.
The minister discloses that her husband promised to offer maternity ward with 20 rooms including Doctors’ room, Nurse Room, waiting room, delivery room and latrines.
She appeals to people of goodwill including business persons to help the hospital for the health of the citizens.
Abak says her first priority as the minister of health is to equip hospital with the health necessary equipment.
Dr Mathiang Agany, a director at Tonj Civil Hospital declared the launching of the blood donation nd urges the communities to continue with the same spirit.
Dr Civilia a program manager appreciates the population that turns up to witness the occasion and expresses her happiness to team.
She further adds that this week they brought volunteers from Italy to installed blood bank in the hospital
Dr Civilia promises to update the donors about the activities taking place in the region.
The event brought together government officials, doctors, patients and civil societies on Tuesday in Tonj civil hospital.
