A Consultant on gender, peace and reconciliation in Tombura state has called on women across the country to form business groups.
Mary Yata told Anisa Radio that through these groups’ women can be able to start a small business that can generate income.
She mentions that the members can easily get some funds from partners like World Vision who support different groups of women in the Agriculture sector in the country.
Mary urges parents to support their daughters by encouraging them to complete studies before Married.
She says it is the responsibility of parents to show love to their children especially those who are candidates should be given time to study.
Mary appeals to women to work hard to compete with men so that the 35% given to them can be increased.
She spoke to Anisa Radio in Tambura after her visitation to Source Yubu and Nabiama to discussed issues affecting women at grassroots.
