The director of Christ Bright Academy School calls on dropouts to join Accelerated Learning Program to improve their educational standards.

Grace Achan says the program that currently runs in three schools within Torit is a simplified way of making learners who dropped out to cope up with the rest, Radio Emmanuel reports.

She points out that education is the right of everybody in the community.

Meanwhile, AVSI Education Social Worker, Ohide Robert Oromo, discloses that this year, 136 students including 90 females are benefiting from Alternative Learning.

He says the program is opened for everyone irrespective of age.

The activist reveals that in January, 2019 about 176 teachers from Torit State will be trained on ALP.

The Accelerated Learning Program that started since 2006 has primary level syllabus designed for eight years been condensed to suit in four years.
