South Sudan has received 77.5 million US dollars from donors, says UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs or OCHA.
The donors include Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Ireland, Luxembourg, Australia, Switzerland, Germany and Canada.
OCHA says the money is intended to address nutrition, water and sanitation, food security and livelihoods, health and education.
It will also provide emergency shelter and non-food items for the displaced persons urgent funding, says the statement.
OCHA explains that Jonglei State will receive 33 percent, Unity State 20, Upper Nile State 17, and Eastern Equatoria State with eight percent.
The Office clarifies that the donors have already given the money to the South Sudan Humanitarian Fund.
