One person killed and three houses burnt in Thiet, Commissioner confirms

One person was killed by his in-laws and three houses were burnt to ashes in Thiet County of Tonj State, Commissioner confirms.
 
Asunta Adhieu Adieu says the incident occurred on November 5 in her presence after the bridegroom escaped from their house, Don Bosco Radio reports.
 
She clarifies that the person was killed at the police station using a stick.
 
The Commissioner discloses that the relatives of the deceased burnt down three houses of the relatives of the bride.
 
She cites lack of respect to the law as the major problem to the community in Thiet County.
 
Adhieu advises the two communities not to take the law in their hands.
 
James Madut Ngor, Police Commissioner, says the presence of guns in the hands of civilians is still causing insecurity in counties.
 
He advises the communities to stop conflict among them.
 
The officials made the remarks in an interview to Don Bosco Radio last week.
