The acting governor of Maridi state reveals that his state continues to face difficulties in connecting to Yei despite the recently celebrated Peace in the country
Samuel Bati says the road is inaccessible due to insecurity especially from Torre to Yei.
He discloses that for the past two weeks there has been an attack and looting by some armed groups from Torre to Rasul.
Bati mentions the government collaborating with the authorities in Yei to combat the insecurity issue.
He adds that Maridi state is relatively calm
The acting governor appeal to those still in the bush to accept the signed revitalized peace agreement.
