‘Stop child marriage’, director-general tells parents

The Director-General of Education in Yei River State urges parents to stop under aged marriage.
 
Amule Flex believes that child marriage were brought up by traditional and self-factors that when a girl reaches 18 years, she is already mature, Radio Easter reports.
 
He cites the example of July 2016 crisis, where many parents decided to flee to Uganda leaving their children behind and no one was guiding them.
 
The official stresses the importance of education for both boys and girls in a country is to realize development.
 
Juma Morris, a parent says poverty is the reason leading them to allow child marriage.
 
He advises his fellow parents to send girls to learn 
 
A student of Emmanuel Model Secondary School requests parents to give children time for studies.
 
The officials were speaking to Radio Easter on Thursday in Yei.
