Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO is enlightening the citizens of Wau State on the amendment of the security law yet to be passed by the national parliament.
Victoria Night Timon, explains that the program serves to execute the strategically partnership to reform the security sectors at the level of four states in South Sudan, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
She adds, there is need for people of Wau to know the amendment made for them to give their views before the law is passed by the parliament.
Night reveals that CEPO provided to the office of Wau State ten copies of the peace agreement signed in September.
She adds CEPO also gave other ten copies security arrangements to the same office.
Minister of Local Government Arkangelo Anyar Anyar says the initiative will help the government since authorities are currently working for the trust building.
This law is supposed to be first adjusted by the national constitutional amendment committee then passed by the Council of Ministers before the parliament.
