Tombura-Yambio Catholic Bishop has dialogued with school girls from Ibba Girls Boarding School in Maridi State.
Bishop Barani Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala on Saturday wanted to know from if the students could be the solutions to numerous problems and needs of all South Sudanese people, Anisa Radio reports.
He asks them if their ambitions would lead them remain at school and finish their studies and become professionals in different fields to solve the problems and provide the needs that are unfixed now in the country.
Some girls reveals to the bishop that want to become teachers, midwives, nurses, doctors, engineers and do other professions.
Richard Aruma Gama, Ibba Girls’ Boarding School head master says the administration invited the Bishop to bless the first primary eight candidates sitting this year primary leaving exams.
He reveals that next year the administration of Ibba Girls’ Boarding school will launch Girls’ Senior Secondary School for the first time.
Nagomoro Brigade, a founder of the school says during her term as Ibba County Commissioner, she got a friend in UK who agreed to fund establishment of the boarding school for girls in Western Equatoria region.
She appreciates all stakeholders, community members and partners involved in the process to make the dream come true.
Ibba Girls Boarding School was started in 2014 with forty girls and today over 200 girls are studying in it.
