The Police commissioner of Amadi confirms to Anisa Radio that roads connecting the state with its neighbors are now accessible.
Major General Elia Costa Faustino says the roads from Amadi to Juba, Mundri, Maridi and Rumbek are quite accessible after the recently signed peace agreement.
The Commissioner mentions that business personnel are conducting their activities very well and there are no more attacks reported on vehicles for the past few days.
He says Amadi is relatively calm after the signing of final peace agreement in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum.
People are busy with farming, Major General Costa.
Last week there was misunderstanding between farmers and cattle keepers which led to more than four farmers’ injury in the communal fighting, he stresses.
The commissioner was speaking to Anisa Radio in a telephone interviews from Amadi State.
