The volunteers of South Sudan Red Cross Rumbek branch are providing first aid to the participants of South Sudan premier league which has kicked off in Western Lakes state.
The South Sudan Premier League Zone B in Bahr El Gazal region has started on Wednesday in Rumbek under the theme promoting peaceful coexistence through sports.
South Sudan Red Cross Communication Officer Chirilo Majok says the first aiders volunteers are helping to solve emergencies cases that occur in the event.
He adds first aid is always provided to the community members during the time of an emergency and in the public event like this.
Majok assures citizens that they will get free service from the voluntary organisation from the starting date of the tournament till the closing which is expected.
He encourages young people to join South Sudan Red Cross in voluntary work and support people by serving community members whenever they needed to.
