Outgoing JMEC Chief urges South Sudan leaders to buy books than guns

South Sudan leadership should buy text books, build classrooms for their children and make development for citizens rather than buying guns, Outgoing Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission or JMEC Chief.
 
Festus Mogae tells the political leaders to be tired of fighting and regrets about the tough situation South Sudan under goes with its many untapped resources.
 
The outgoing leader says JMEC played its role under difficult conditions, but that the mission was not fully completed.
 
He calls on the people of South Sudan  to cooperate to get peace and services they deserved.
 
The Outgoing Chief of JMEC gave the remarks during his farewell on Tuesday in Juba.
