Over thirty boreholes were repaired in different locations in Tonj State, says Acting Director-General in the Ministry of Water, Cooperative and Rural Development.
Santo Aluong Kuc stresses that the ministry is putting more efforts to make sure people have access to clean drinking, Don Bosco Radio reports.
Currently there is a new rehabilitation of water yard within the town to supply different locations, the official adds.
He reveals that the new drilling will supply water to seven locations within the municipality.
Aluong encourages residents of Warkar village to be patient since the government is working hard to see communities drinking clean water.
He says the ministry is running out of financial support to help emergency shortage of water in the town.
The Acting Director-General made the remarks after many complaints were reported to his office.
