Boda-boda riders in Tonj on Thursday say lack of fuel and spare parts in the market force them to raise transport prices.
James Yai Lual, one of the riders says they charge customers according to how they understand each other, Don Bosco Radio reports.
He states that lack of job opportunities for youth forced most of them to be Boda-boda riders.
Yai adds that he struggles to get three hundred SSP a day for survival.
The rider reveals that they charge hundred SSP per person in a distance of five kilometers.
He points out that one tire of motor-bike is seven thousands South Sudanese Pounds
James Marial, another boda-boda rider in mentions poor roads high prices of spare parts as problems facing them.
Deng Majaka, a fuel seller says that they buy a jarricane of fuel with eight thousand SSP and sell each bottle at six hundred ssp making 9000 thousands per jar can.
He adds that they are taxed everyday with 150 ssp.
