An artist working at Pro-line Graphic Design in Torit is encouraging youth to commit themselves on practical jobs to help them earn a living.
Amon Nuria an artist dealing with art design, sign post, caps, and sculptures says the work he is doing helps him to support his parents, friends and the whole society.
‘The business right now am carrying now it has help me a lot because it has not let me be idle every morning I wake up tells me to go and work so now am self employed, it helps me provide my personal work , to help my family, to help my friends, and then to help the whole society, helps me provide what I need in life and then to help others and then to progress in life, and to my achievement it shows a very good example to the youth out there to help them to become what they want to be in life’, he emphasizes.
Nuria acknowledges he faced financial challenges at the start, although managed to prosper with the business.
He advises young people to avoid waiting for ready jobs while neglecting others.
‘The challenges I faced one is financial challenges you know there is no one to support me in my business and my brother so I have to struggle on my own but if there is any help out there to support me I will be somewhere to help the whole nation to be what it is cause you know the art work I do so I can be much better, but right now what I am try to do is what I want only financial status, I see there some youth who are able to be working but they pretend not to do some dirty job like as I do my work is a dirty job they wait for ready things and that is what I don’t advise for the youth to do’, he notes.
The artist spoke to Radio Emmanuel in an interview on Thursday at Pro-line Graphic Design Centre in Torit.
