AU urges top officials to end ongoing conflicts in South Sudan

African Union or AU is urging South Sudan top leaders involved in the final signing of the peace agreement in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to end the ongoing conflict.
 
Special Representative of the Chairperson of AU Commission Ambassador Joram Biswaro, says their mission is to ensure guns are silenced by 2020 in the continent.
 
He acknowledges the recent appointment of the National Pre-Transitional Committee which he believes shows commitment to implement the signed peace agreement.
 
The Representative calls for implementation of the Addis Ababa deal in letter and spirit.
 
Ambassador of Nigeria to South Sudan, Obinna Chukwuemeka, expresses happiness that the parties were able to sign the peace agreement on September 12 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
 
He calls on the parties to ensure the agreement is implemented in order for development to follow.
 
Both Ambassadors spoke during a visit to Juba Teaching Hospital where they donated food items and some money on Thursday.
