Kampala University begins lectures in Nuba Mountains

The Kampala University College in Kauda of Nuba Mountains that started its registrations for Distance Learning Programmes in June 2018 has begun its teaching.
 
Speaking to the gathering during the inauguration ceremony on Friday, Nuba Mountains Governor Alnur Saleh congratulates the people of Nuba and describes the day as great and historical.
 
He says having the College in Nuba Mountains indicates that Nuba has achieved their objective by having a university in the liberated area.
 
The governor expresses government happiness to with the launch of Kampala University College.
 
The University College in Kauda opened in partnership with Skills for Nuba Mountains will offer Business Administration, Procurement and Logistics and Human Resource Management.
 
It will deliver courses including Accounting, Mass Communication, Political Science, Information Technology, Public Health, Public Administration and Computer Sciences.
 
Two professors from Kampala University in Uganda have been deployed in Kauda to run the institution together with Founder and Executive Director for Skills for Nuba Mountains, Lazim Suleiman El-Basha.
