A Pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Sudan calls on fellow preachers to focus on council elders to resolve their differences amicably.

The call was made at the end of the Evangelical Lutheran Church Pastors’ conference in Juba on Wednesday.

One of the resolutions made during the conference says the church must get involved in solving what happened within the church without taking to the court.

Speaking to Anisa Radio, Reverend Kibongo Tito Henry calls on Christians to learn how to resolve their issues especially between them and their pastors in peaceful manners.

He cautions that no one is above the law including the church, but that there are also laws guiding the church.

The pastor points out that the Lutheran Church was given the mandate to carry awareness on peace and reconciliation during the conference.

In other development, Lutheran Church is soon going to celebrate 25th anniversary of its establishment in South Sudan.

The pastor was speaking to Anisa Radio on Thursday in Yambio.
