Commissioner suspends two chiefs in Western Lakes State

The Commissioner of Rumbek Central County on Wednesday suspended two chiefs for three months without pay.
 
According to the provisional order Radio Good News received on Wednesday, Manyiel Riak Manyiel says the two chiefs disobeyed government orders.
 
The order states that no chief would be allowed to move out of the state before the disarmament ends.
 
The two chiefs suspended are: Madol Mathok Agolder, Paramount Chief of Amonhom and Monyiik Regional Court and Der Makuer Gol, Executive Chief of Akam Branch Court.
 
In the same order, Commissioner Riak appointed Malual Malok Gak as Acting Paramount Chief of Amonhom and Monyiik Regional Court.
 
He also assigned Maker Loth Machut to act as Executive Chief of Akam Branch Court.
