Hospital trains in charges on care of HIV/AIDS patients

The Mother of Mercy hospital in Gidel under the Diocese of El Obeid trains in charges on how to care for people living with HIV/AIDS.
 
Head of voluntary, counselling and testing or VCT program Kukani Ibrahim says that the workshop focus on care and how to reduce stigma from HIV/AIDS patients within and outside the hospital.
 
He adds that in the recent weeks the numbers of people living with HIV viruses are more than 230 in the regions of Nuba Mountains.
 
Ibrahim mentions that the infections are increasing due to sexual contacts with infected and uninfected persons.
 
Kukani Ibrahim calls on people to turn up for VCT in order to know their health status.
