The parish priest of St Joseph Maigbanguru in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio urges Christians to plant teak and other trees to generate income.
Fr Miambu Sete says planting trees like teak, coffees and mangoes can boost the country’s economy.
He encourages people to work hard to produce enough food that can chase hunger and sustain their life.
Fr Sete points out that for a country to develop there must be strong creative leaders who can sit and plan for the development.
He encourages the believers to change their behaviours that cannot lead them to the kingdom of God.
The priest was speaking at St Joseph Parish in Saura of the catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio.
