The Ambassador of Japan to South Sudan has handed over a Vocation Training Centre to the government of Gbudue State.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Seiji Okada says they are strongly committed to support developmental activities in the the young country.
Radio Anisa quoted Okada mentioning that the training centre will build the capacity of young people with different skills.
The centre offers training on carpentry, building and entrepreneurship among other activities, he adds.
Meanwhile the Minister of Trade, Industry and East African Community Moses Hassan Ayak says the centre will benefit a lot of young people with skills which are needed for the development of the country.
Gbudue State Governor Daniel Badagbu Rimambasa appreciates the Japanese government for constructing the vocation training centre.
He acknowledges that it is key empowerment facility to the youth of Gbudue State.
The governor reveals that when young people are engaged in productive activities there is peace in country.
Government officials and partners in Yambio attended the handover ceremony.
