South Sudan team loss to Mali in the African cup of nations qualifiers match played in Juba on Sunday due to lack of early preparation, according to Coach.
Ahseine Aed Abdel Malek says the time he had to prepare Bright Star for the match was not enough since it was less than a month.
He explains that the team lack energy in attacking and the opponent caught it easily on the break.
Ait feels there is still some room for improvement being the first competition with the Bright Star team.
The coach says the team does not deserve to loss with such margin, judging on how good they played especially in defending and the ball holding.
He applauds Mali for having strength in midfield and strong attacking options.
The win took the Eagles to the top of the Group C standings, while the Bright Stars remained fourth on the table.
Moussa Marega put Mali ahead after 35 minutes and Coulibaly, who enjoyed a fine start to his time with Egyptian giants Ahly, doubled the lead in the 73rd minute.
