The Bishop of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan in Yei on Thursday praised teachers and students for successful completion of mock exams.

Bishop Hillary Luate Adeba appreciates the students and teachers for their perseverance from the time of conflict, Radio Easter reports.

He says ‘when the crisis began, schools in Yei literally closed down, but these children stayed in town with their parents’.

Adeba says with encouragement, the students will perform better and bring forth good results for the state.

He decries lack of secondary schools in Kajo-Keji, Lainya and Morobo.

Meanwhile, Yei River State Governor, Emmanuel Adil Anthony, encourages the students to study and work hard to pass the upcoming national exams.

All spoke to Radio Easter in a closing session of the joint secondary school mock exams in Yei.
