The council of ministers on Thursday met to resolve withholding of teachers’ salaries by the ministry of Local Government.
Information Minister Alfred Kenneth Duku says the council harmonize the decision of banning the county transfers for teachers, Radio Easter reports.
He adds that the council directs the Local Government Ministry to speed up the process and report on the transfers in less than ten days.
The minister discloses that the committee decided that the Finance Ministry will report on the expenditure and the one hundred days plan of the state to carry the expenses to 2018/2019 budget.
Duku spoke to Radio Easter at Yei state secretariat on Thursday.
