The medical mobile team of World Health Organization or WHO in Yei supports the State Ministry of Health on Ebola awareness and preparedness.
Walla Krispo says the outbreak of Ebola in Congo prompted the need to strengthen the capacity of health providers to respond to cases, Radio Easter reports.
Krispo notes that they are focusing on infection, prevention, control and safe burials.
He says strengthening the capacity of medical officers on ground is a priority.
Earlier last week, a High Level Ministerial Emergency Advisory Committee on Ebola disaster preparedness and awareness led by Dr Riak Gai Kok met in Yei to develop plans to tackle any incident.
