Bongo Community elects head of local chiefs in Tonj

Bongo community in Tonj State has elected Barnaba Bikor as head of court to observe their chiefs, discloses a leader.
 
Khamis Delenge Morjan says it is great pleasure to the council of elders and youth to elect more than five members and women representative Hawa Malambga, Don Bosco Radio reports.
 
The leader reveals that they elected a female chief to speak about women’s rights in the court.
 
He requests his community leaders and the chiefs to appoint a woman in the court of law to solve the issues concerning women.
 
Delenge pledges that they will raise funds to build a court to try cases in the nearest future.
 
Khamis urges the new elected leaders to cooperate and start serving people in peace and unity. 
 
The newly elected chairperson was not available to comment on the issue.
