A priest in the Catholic Diocese of Tombura-Yambio is calling on people to be united and work to serve others in the community.
According to Anisa Radio, Diocesan Chancellor Fr Ezekiel Sungerukuari, says people should emulate the example of Jesus Christ by serving others with dignity and love,
He mentions that people are called by God to carry His mission of forgiveness, reconciliation and preaching the Gospel.
Fr Ezekiel reveals that priests are called among the people whose first mission is to offer prayers and administered Sacraments.
The priest invites Christians to pray for them especially Fr Elia Juma who celebrated his silver Jubilee at St Mary Yambio Parish.
He adds that Fr Juma has been in the mission of preaching the word of God for the past 25 years.
