South Sudan’s Minister of Petroleum confirms that oil production will resume at Toma South, El Mar, El Toor, Manga and Unity oil fields
Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth says South Sudan’s recovery and match to prosperity is firmly underway. He adds that the ministry is working with Sudan to achieve production resumption at key oil fields in the country.
Gatkuoth stresses commitment to building on the achievements at Toma South and brings the petroleum industry to full operation as soon as possible.
This development is a collaboration between South Sudan and Sudan under the recently signed Peace Agreement in Khartoum for permanent ceasefire between the two parties
