Wau Assembly deliberates on MPs role on peace deal implementation

Wau State Legislative Assembly with support from civil society network starts deliberation on roles of Legislative members for the implementation of the peace agreement.
 
Voice of Hope Radio quoted Deputy Speaker Voila Alexander Umele saying the MPs are discussing on role of each member plays on the peace deal.
 
She adds that the focus is on the second protocol that talks about security reform in South Sudan.
 
The Deputy Speaker urges all the civil society organizations and government to concentrate on developmental projects.
 
She adds that the country went through lots of destruction during the conflict.
 
Chairperson of Civil Society Network, Joseph Luka, says the workshop aims to highlight roles of MPs during the implementation of the agreement.
 
The activist urges all parties and citizens to know their roles for lasting peace in the country.
