Wau Catholic Diocesan Administrator advises people on the importance of cultivation as the only way for South Sudanese to fight hunger in the country.
Fr Marko Mongu says always he defends on agriculture and uses the rainy season early which gave 95 percent success to harvest, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
He adds that he cultivated 66 fedans this year with different crops and yielded well.
Fr Mongu mentions a plan for Wau diocese to have a garden and all parishes have their farms avoid depending on relief aid.
The Diocesan Administrator calls on people of South Sudan to invest their free time and their resources on agriculture.
The diocesan administrator made the statement after harvesting watermelon.
