Pupils steal over 200,000 SSP and other stationeries in El Obeid

Pupils in St. Peter and Paul Primary school broke into their administration office and stole more than Two hundred thousand South Sudanese pounds and number of stationeries on Friday in Heiban County.
 
Yousif Dawod the head teacher of the school told radio voice of peace that the thieves opened the screws attached to the door and entered the office.
 
He adds that the money and school materials were stolen in series of days but they could not trace who did it.
 
The head teacher says that they reported the case to the police and numbers of the thieves were arrested.
 
Osman Adam Dawalbied the police officer explains that seven pupils and one student from secondary school are in detention.
 
He mentions that they were caught with evidence of sum of money and school stationeries. 
 
The police officer condemned the act of stealing in schools.
 
Officer Osman adds that those children who broke into the school office range from 11 to 14 years old.
 
He elaborates that investigation is still ongoing and soon the thieves will face the law.
