Torit State Cabinet on the martyr’s day visited and paid condolence to the family of the late Major General Pilot Patrick Aiteng who passed away on last Friday due to Kidney failure in Juba.
Addressing hundreds of mourners at Hai Matara residential area in Torit town, Governor Tobiolo Alberio Oromo advises the population to obtain the legacy that General Patrick has left on the ground, Emmanuel Radio reports.
He encourages mourners to have hope and believe that the late departed as a call from God.
Meanwhile Torit State Minister of Information Margret Idwa Okuye calls on South Sudanese to remember the heroic work of the fallen heroes and heroines who sacrificed their lives in liberating the people of South Sudan.
Felix Imoi, a family representative of the late appreciates the state cabinet for paying homage to their late beloved brother.
He urges the state government to continue sharing and supporting families of fallen heroes and heroines.
Major General Patrick Aiteng died on July 27 in Juba and was laid to rest at his home town in Torit on July 28, 2018.
