Torit state deputy commissioner of Police has accused authorities of municipal Council for issuing permission to youth groups for organizing night parties.

Colonel Caesar Oromo says allowing such events to take place at night is another way of spoiling the future of these youths.

Oromo urges the council’s office to stop giving the groups of young boys’ permission to host parties at night.

Colonel Oromo calls on parents and chiefs to control their children so as to reduce night movement to disco places.

Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor of Torit municipal council Dominic Safari Aleardo denied the accusation against his office.

He says his office is not giving permission for night parties to be organized.

Safari says it is the role of the police during night parties to provide security and monitor negative practises.

The Deputy Mayor calls on South Sudanese to promote their culture instead of involving themselves in wrong practises which are contrary to South Sudan traditions.
