The commissioner of Yei River County has called on girls in the area to focus on education for successful and brighter future.
Justin Lokonga Kenyi says that in order for the girls to be better people in future they should protect themselves from the things obstructing them from learning
The commissioner says those who are now holding positions were serious on education and did not allow their minds to be manipulated.
Lokonga urges the girls not to entertain things that will lead them to drop from school.
He advises the girls to avoid early marriage and concentrate with studies.
Lokonga spoke on Friday during the commemoration of the international girl child education day
